DECEMBER 07 2022

ODSlocal Platform celebrates another year of existence with the 3rd Annual ODSlocal Conference "Paths, Dynamics, Futures" taking place today, December 7th, in Loulé, at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, from 2pm. During this event, the ODSLocal Awards will be delivered, a distinction that includes two categories: Municipal Practices for SDGs and Local Projects for SDGs.

EGF is present in this initiative and sponsors the Local Projects for the SDGs category, which aims to distinguish three projects of civil society organisations mapped in the ODSlocal portal, at national level, that have a positive impact on the advancement of the 2030 Agenda, are strongly inspiring and have a high replicability potential in the People, Prosperity and Planet categories.

The ODSlocal Seals will also be awarded to the municipalities that stood out the most in this area.

About ODSlocal Platform

ODSlocal Platform is the name of the initiative that aims to mobilise municipalities and other relevant entities to achieve, at local level, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations Agenda 2030.

It was born from a partnership between the National Council for Environment and Sustainable Development (CNADS), OBSERVA (ICS-University of Lisbon), MARE (New University of Lisbon), and 2adapt, and is supported by the "la Caixa" Foundation.

It integrates a dynamic online portal that allows visualising and monitoring the progress and contributions of each municipality in relation to the SDGs.
