ALGAR, EGF Concessionaire for the Algarve region, and ENTRAJUDA (Algarve), in 2016, raised a total of 10,735t of packaging waste in the Separate Feeding campaign, which allowed the collection of funds to purchase food Specific nutritional needs of children aged 12-36 months, supported by the Algarve Food Bank.
 

The aim of the campaign is to collect recyclable plastic, metal and beverage packages, and with its sale to purchase food products for children up to 3 years of age. As part of this action, deposition centers were set up to collect material at ALGAR and at the Food Bank of Algarve.
 

The initiative has obtained adhesion by the population and several local entities, which with the gesture of separation of the waste guarantee their recycling and contribute to the help of those who need it most.
 
 
Everyone can continue to collaborate - just empty empty containers at ALGAR's facilities, which are located throughout the Algarve region from Aljezur to Alcoutim, or at the Food Bank's premises in Portimão and Faro, informing Who do it in favor of the Separate for Food campaign.
