ALGAR, the company responsible for the management of urban solid waste in Algarve, will bring the “A Nossa Casa é um Planeta (Our House is a Planet)” project to schools in the region once more. These awareness-raising actions are integrated into the ECOVALOR Program, within the scope of a joint application, by the 11 concessionaires belonging to EGF, to POSEUR - Programa Operacional Sustentabilidade e Eficiência no Uso dos Recursos (Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources).

The initiative includes the projection on 360º itinerant planetariums of 3 films conceived with content for different target audiences (Kindergarten; Primary and Secondary/Adult), on the themes Reduction, Reuse, Recovery and Recycling of materials and energy.
