The Eco Sound contest is an initiative promoted by Amarsul, EGF Concessionaire in the South Bank of the Tagus, which aims to promote and consolidate good recycling habits in the Secondary Schools of the Setúbal Peninsula, involving all stakeholders (students, teachers and employees) in the daily life of the school.
 
During the 2016/17 academic year, the 2nd edition of the competition was held, with the participation of 18 schools and a total of over 20,000 students. About 107 tons of recyclable waste were recovered, distributed between paper / cardboard, plastic and glass.
 
The winning school registered an average of 12 kg / pupil at the end of the competition, having received an exclusive concert by Deejay Telio & Deedz B and 1,000 euros in pedagogical material. The 3rd edition of Amarsul Eco Sound starts at the beginning of the next school year with 27 participating schools. For more information: www.amarsul.pt
