EGF has available new pedagogical material, on the treatment of waste in pandemic times, for sharing and awareness, in their COVID-19's website tab.

It is important to thank those who deal with our waste on a daily basis. To this end, in addition to a campaign to raise awareness among the population, to follow the rules and stay at home to protect themselves and waste collection workers; posters, leaflets and social media posts were made available thus facilitating the transmission of simple rules to have with the waste we produce every day during the pandemic.

In order to support all professionals of EGF, and of the municipalities, it is important not to neglect the 5 rules of waste treatment. Namely, to remember that the placement of bulky waste for collection is not a priority during the pandemic. Even if you are cleaning and tidying your home, you must wait for the end of this phase and only place these materials (mattresses, sofas and other materials that do not fit in the containers) when the service is available once again.
