EGF participated in the 6th Alentejo Waste Management Meeting, an event held in Beja on November 21, organized by the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, in partnership with the AMCAL, RESIALENTEJO and VALNOR Waste Management Systems and which was attended by of the most relevant organizations in the sector.

 

On behalf of EGF was Filipa Pantaleão, the Group's technical manager, who on the panel dedicated to the evolution of municipal waste management in Portugal, presented the activities developed by EGF in promoting selective collection in conjunction with the municipalities.

 

This meeting brought together a panel of speakers with different opinions and responsibilities in the waste sector, which allowed for a wide debate and discussion of relevant topics that interested all participants. The highlight was the Evolution of Urban Waste Management in Portugal, focusing on different strategic themes for the sector, as well as the sharing of Good Waste Management Practices and the role of CAGER in the operation of SIGRE.
