The EGF supported and was present at the 13th National Waste Forum, a regular meeting and reference of the sector, which took place between 10 and 11 April at the Museu do Oriente in Lisbon.

The participation was carried out by Filipa Pantaleão, Business Developer and by Ana Loureiro, Director of Communication, who on April 11 presented and discussed the new system of deposit of drinks packaging and its integration in SIGRE and the themes of the Waste Agenda 2020, with a specific presentation on the role of the citizen.

Once again, this forum has marked the year with themes that will provide sure clues to the future path of the industry, which will include the application of the new waste directive, PERSU 2020+, to the themes of the Agenda 2020, among other topics .

In this Forum, the excellence of the management entities of the waste management service was also honored at a ceremony of awarding quality awards and stamps, an ERSAR initiative organized in partnership with the Water and Environment Journal. This year, the EGF dealers, Valorminho and Valorsul, will be distinguished, with Valorsul also being awarded the Service Excellence award.
