EGF won the second place in the ISWA Communication Award - International Solid Waste Association 2020 with the communication campaign #PREVENTCOVID19.

This international award recognizes the excellence of waste communication campaigns that increase public awareness and promote sustainable waste and resource management.

Finland ranked first with the HSY Waste Escape Room project from Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority HSY, and Scotland ranked third with the Zero Waste Scotland Trial Period project.

ISWA is an international association, of which EGF - Environment Global Facilities is a member, that aims to develop waste management in a sustainable manner worldwide, promoting resource efficiency through sustainable production and consumption and supporting under development and emerging economies.

This is the first year that Portugal is classified on the winners podium.
