EGF participated in AgroGlobal, the largest agricultural trade fair in the country and one of the largest in Europe, which was held in Valada do Ribatejo, between 7 and 9 September. In this trade fair, EGF presented the organic fertilisers that it produces in the Group’s assorted companies, as well as the benefits of its use for the soil and for the plants. The companies in EGF Group produce organic fertilisers in their facilities, from the treatment and composting of the organic fraction of municipal waste or green waste. The usage of EGF’s organic fertilisers is highly advantageous in the main agroforestry systems, particularly in agricultural, trees and shrub crops, namely vineyards, orchards, olive groves and forest species.
