ERSUC received certification according to the standard NP EN ISO 55001: 2016, Asset Management System, whose scope covers the Asset Management System applicable to the Multimunicipal System for the Treatment and Valorization of Urban Solid Waste of the Litoral Centro, including Collection services, Reception, Transfer, Treatment, Screening and Recovery.

This certification resulted from the implementation of the benchmark in the Integrated Centers for the Valorisation and Treatment of MSW in Aveiro and Coimbra, in the Transfer Stations of Ansião, Estarreja, Góis, Figueira da Foz, Ossela, Pampilhosa da Serra and Sever do Vouga, and also in the old ones. landfills, namely the Old Landfill of Coimbra (Taveiro), the Old Landfill of Aveiro (Taboeira) and the Old Landfill of Figueira da Foz (Lavos).

The Asset Management System is a process that involves balancing several variables such as costs, risks, opportunities and performance benefits, aiming at the optimization of resources. The Asset Management System implemented at ERSUC expresses the integration of Asset Management processes, activities and information with other organizational functions, such as quality, environment, security, accounting, risk and human resources.

The implementation of the Asset Management System, will allow ERSUC to improve the services available as a result of the good performance of the assets, seeking to improve organizational sustainability, through a more effective management of costs and investments.
