SULDOURO, in a joint initiative with the Municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia and with the MEO Marés Vivas festival organization, collected, between July 20th and 22th, more than 8,300 kg of recyclable waste from glass, paper / cardboard and plastic / metal produced during the event.

This is an EcoEvent integrated in the social innovation strategy of EGF, to which all the Concessionaires have joined and for which they have received the support of POSEUR - Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources.

This initiative of Suldouro is part of a broad strategy that the company has been developing in its area of ​​coverage, in order to be present at major events, promoting the separation of waste and thus managing to recycle waste that would traditionally be deposited in landfill.

Suldouro thanks the partner entities, namely the Municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia and the organization of the Festival, all the availability and mutual help, which allowed to reach these results in just 3 days.
