Integrated in an application financed by the Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources (POSEUR), Resiestrela, EGF's Concessionaire for the region of Cova da Beira, will acquire a total of 8 vehicles, namely 3 lorries for door-to-door collection of glass and paper / cardboard, 2 light vehicles for door-to-door collection in commerce and services and 3 vehicles of Collection of Ecopoints with self-compacting box.

This investment, close to one million euros, aims to reinforce the circuits of door-to-door collection and collection of Ecopoints in the municipalities of Almeida, Belmonte, Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Fornos de Algodres, Fundão, Guarda, Manteigas, Meda, Penamacor, Pinhel, Sabugal and Trancoso.

This is a great step for the renewal of the fleet, with an increase in the number of vehicles of the fleet of the company, in order to strengthen and improve the service to all populations, optimize and increase the service of selective collection, the correct routing of waste for recycling.
