Resiestrela will requalify and expand the mechanical and biological treatment (TMB) facility located at the Urban Waste Treatment and Valorization Center in Fundão, with an investment of 985 thousand euros, financed by 85%. This investment is the result of an application approved by POSEUR that aims to install a dedicated line for the processing of bio-waste from selective collection in a TMB infrastructure for urban waste, with the objective of making this facility compatible with the growing flow of urban waste selectively collected.

This operation, in summary, includes the creation of a line of bio-waste, the creation of a reception area and the modification and expansion of the command and operational control system.
