Resiestrela - Management, Valorization and Treatment of Urban Waste in the municipalities of Almeida, Belmonte, Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Fornos de Algodres, Fundão, Guarda, Butters, Meda, Penamacor, Pinhel, Sabugal and Trancoso launches competition called “Youth and the Environment”.

 

This competition aims to enhance young people's artistic skills, promote debate on the topic of recycling and contribute to clarifying doubts about the separation of recyclable waste, through the making of videos with the theme of the environment / recycling, which will be published and voted on Resiestrela's Facebook.

 

Despite all the constraints caused by the Covid19 Pandemic, a Resiestrela recognizes the importance of implementing communication actions that encourage young people to participate in actions promoted by Resiestrela, without putting their health and safety at risk.

 

With the participation of Free Time Activities, promoted by Municipalities, schools or private entities. This contest will provide several fun moments for children and young people, so that they can abstract the problem that plagues us right now.

 

The dynamics of the action will be developed as follows:

 

Recipients: Free Time Activities, promoted by Municipalities, schools or private entities, from the 14 Municipalities in the area covered by Resiestrela.

 

Typology: Video with the Environment / Recycling theme.

 

Enrollment: Send the Enrollment Form to comunicacao@resiestrela.pt until July 6th, 2021.

 

Reception of works: Videos must be sent by the 15th of July 2021.

 

Selection of Works / Prizes: the videos in the competition will be published and voted on on Resiestrela's Facebook page (22 to 30 July 2021). The winner will be announced on social media on August 4, 2021.

 

Prize: The winning video will receive as a prize T-shirts “THE FUTURE OF THE PLANET IS NOT RECYCLING”, Tattoos “THE FUTURE OF THE PLANET IS NOT RECYCLING” and Flyers and deviated aut with the rules of waste separation.
