RESINORTE, the EGF Concessionaire in the North Central of Portugal, has invested around 2.7M € in vehicles for selective collection of packaging.

This investment is integrated in an application funded by the Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources (POSEUR) and, it realizes a strategic option outlined in PAPERSU in response to the challenges introduced by PERSU 2020 regarding the increase of multi-material recycling.

By the end of the year, Resinorte will receive 18 vehicles of selective collection of Ecopoints and door to door to improve the service provided to municipalities and citizens, in order to achieve the national objectives of the urban waste management strategy framed by the Community waste policy.
