Resulima, an EGF Concessionaire in the north of the country, in partnership with the Municipality of Viana do Castelo, with the Municipalized Services of Basic Sanitation and with the Center for Environmental Monitoring and Interpretation, will promote a campaign to recycle the wrapping paper between December 24 and January 6. The initiative provides for the installation of 40 containers in residential areas of the county.

The campaign aims to promote the correct separation of waste, namely the paper that is used for gift wrapping, since every year after Christmas night, it is verified that the wrapping paper is deposited in the equipment destined to domestic waste , thus depriving itself of a vital resource for circular economy.

Throughout the campaign, 40 containers will be made available in the city, duly identified, destined to the deposition of the wrapping paper. Containers will be installed in residential areas, where there is greater distance from the common ecopoints, thus providing the Vianese with the equipment needed to properly dispose of the paper.
