With the support of Valorlis and in the scope of the event "Leiria, walls with history: PUBLIC ART" was in Leiria on the 28th and 29th September, the artist Bordalo II, famous for reusing materials and creating urban art works using as raw material, waste.
 

Due to the creative approach and contemporary language that characterizes it, Bordalo II is currently an internationally projected artist, carrying the message of the importance of environmental sustainability across borders. On the wall supported by Valorlis, damaged containers, various plastics and metals were used and a heron with three cubs was born, a unique and surprising urban work that can be visited during a walk along the banks of the Lis River.
 

The "Leiria, walls with history: PUBLIC ART" is a Valorlis EcoEvent, and is committed to reducing the environmental impact and promoting proper waste management, resulting from the various stages of the event, through the implementation of concrete measures such as: implement environmental awareness actions among all participants, optimize the material resources used, considering their potential for reuse and / or recycling and the placement of mini containers in the places of artistic interventions and exhibition spaces.
